A year ago today, June 9th 2022, Billy Kametz, the voice of Ferdinand von Aigr, passed away from colon cancer. May he rest in peace.

For me, my boons would exclusively be combat-ones, due to me not being that much of a study person and give more focus on physical activity. Among these weapons, my boons would most of all Axe and Brawling, with maybe Sword as well. Lance and Bow are neutral.

As for banes, definetly Reason. As I said, I am not a study person and frequently jump into things without thinking straight. I am also pretty introverted with a dose of social anxiety, so Authority is a no-no as well, plus that requires a lot of thinking and planning just like Reason. And I am also not much of an animal guy so Riding as well. Flying is neutral.

If I have a student who dies, Caspar for example, if he dies while I'm playing Classic, in addition to not being able to use him, will he also disappear from the monastery and from the story scenes?

I had posted some about this in the general FE sub but I got accused of being a troll although this is something a genuinely struggle with. Thought maybe I could try a post here since people seem more forgiving and less judge mental here.

I’ve been thinking about trying 3Hopes for a while. I know there’s a demo, but my concern isn’t the gameplay. It’s the characters and story. I know all about tre story in all three routes, but my FE fan, Fodlan lover, and gamer brain says play it anyways. But I can’t shake seeing all the intensively negative things about the story asks characters online off me, especially with Dimitri and Claude. I love all the lords in three houses so it’s a relief to see Edelgard fans not under nuclear fire for once. But guess who’s my favorite?

Yep! It’s Claude. I’ve seen so many YouTube videos, YT comment sections, Twitter, tumblr, and Reddit posts disparaging Claude the most. I’ve seen it all from bloodlustung tyrant,backstabber, the objective evil guy of Fodlan, worse than Thales, idiot, and psychopath. Not to mention actual racist aimed at him too. And I’m biracial myself so it’s extra awful. Some pretty respected redditor on the main subreddit made a post calling GW atrocious and a “golden trash fire” and says Claude ruins all the GD in the story.

The Dimitri anger is less profound but still there. I’ve seen centrist, boring, and even that his route is sexist cause what happens to Edelgard in AG. Both part 2 of GW and AG appear universally hated.

Now my issue is twofold; 1) I don’t want to hate these characters that I love and 2) I don’t want to be outcast and revolved for liking those characters. I’m always been terrified for having “wrong opinion” since I was a kid.

Should I still get the game cause I may like it? And if I do, how do reconcile the fact that some of the characters I live are now despised? Like, how do fellow fans here deal with it?

Because of the thread about the game not having DLC: What would you have wanted to have as DLC for Three Hopes? I'm especially interested in the less obvious DLC ideas - they wouldn't have to make sense:

Here are mine:

-The missing outfits from Three Houses. Honestly, I'm surprised they didn't port these over ages ago. Both the Byleth outfits and the war outfits would be great to have.

-The units removed in the transition from Three Houses

-A personal Class for Seteth that would use Lances while on a Wyvern. He has his spear IN CUTSCENES.

-Maybe a paralogue for Rhea? It could take place during the War of Heroes and the reward could be the Sword if the Creator (it would still have its Crest Stone and thus allow Edelgard to use Ruptured Heaven).

-This is a really wild idea but I'd love it if they made Acheron playable in NGP. He's essentially a meme anyways.

Some more minor things that could be done (should honestly be a free update tho)

-Make both genders of Shez/Byleth available in the record keeper mode for gender locked classes and for having the option

-Allow Byleth to use their blue haired selves in the appearance menu

-Let Jeritza wear the Death Knight helmet

-MAKE PEER TRAINING LESS UNBEARABLE

-Add the Prologue/Chapter 1 to the record keeper. It just feels weird to have it start at chapter 2.

I've finished Blue Lions and im almost done with Crimson Flower. Am I all set for marrying Edelgard. I'm on chapter 16.

Judging from Three Hope, the game seems to imply that a second faction is trying to disrupt Twistd by stealing Shez away from them. Besides that, Ashe's support of Shez implies that the village might be an Agarthen-run village.

Some of my characters are in Master Classes, Lorenz and Marianne for example, but I've seen some discourse in the community that the Master Classes are not good/worth it, so IDK what to do, if I should go back on the ones who already are at Masters and halt the one who aren't yet

For context, I'm on my second run, my first was a Crimson Flower, now I'm doing a Verdant Wind, and I got to the time-skip, at first I felt kinda shocked seeing the "report", saying that a good chunk of the Kingdom had fallen, with basically only houses Fraldarius and Gautier holding the line, and the Alliance being in shambles, with house Gloucester no less siding with the Empire. I got to the mission with Claude, and after seeing all those enemies I thought it would just be a bloodbath for Claude and Byleth, but then Ignatz and Lorenz arrived, followed by Hilda and Leonie, then Raphael, Lysithea and Marianne, while Chasing Daybreak, arguably my favorite song in the entire OST, played.

Seeing the whole crew together again for a rampage against the bandits and soon enough the Empire got me hyped up on a level I've never been before with a game. I can't wait to see what shenanigans Claude, Byleth and the rest of the crew will get up to now!

These are the paired endings im thinking of getting for my BL playtrough. What are your thoughts on them? I want everyone to get a happy ending

I see it and I can't help but think it's huge, for him to be able to tie it in a bun and still have a ton of it going down, it's gotta be a ton of hair.

Not sure if I missed something but after completing the DLC, it seems no one is in the abyss. I was able to receive the rewards such as the renown and item but with regards to the characters, I can't find anyone? Did I miss something?
